William G. McGinnis was first elected to the Butte-Glenn CCD Trustee Board in 1992. Since then, he has continued to serve as a trustee including twice as the Board’s president, among other offices. His community college experience includes serving on the statewide Trustees Board between 1997 and 2006, during which time he was elected as its president and president of the Community College League of California (CCLC). He has also served on system-wide advisory committees for California Community Colleges and on the CCLC’s Advisory Committee on Legislation and the Advisory Committee on Education.
