Level Red: A Community Approach to Mitigating Campus Terrorism

Terrorism is part of our society today. The words anthrax, smallpox, suicide bomber, and al-Qaeda have become part of our everyday vocabulary. Places like Oklahoma City, the Atlanta Olympics, the World Trade Center, and the Pentagon continue to sadly remind us of the impact a terrorist attack can have on our way of life. The negative social and economic effects of a terrorist incident on a college campus community could be catastrophic. Yet with all the knowledge we have about terrorism and its effect, these questions must be asked. Are you ready? Are you doing everything necessary to protect your campus community members? How can you do more?

Join Chief Paul Cell in this program and examine terrorism in today’s society and focus on the recognition of terrorist type behavior in a campus community. Chief Cell will also identify measures that can be taken to aid you in protecting yourself, the students you serve and the community you work in.
