About the Presenter

Dr. Denise Swett is passionate about professional development, and her enthusiasm is based on more than 20 years experience in higher education.  She currently manages the college-wide professional development program at Foothill College, where she also serves as the Associate Vice President of Middlefield Campus & Community Programs.  She served as the Vice President of Student Services at Cañada College, the Dean of Students at Chabot College and was part of the leadership team in student services at the University of San Francisco. Along with her administrative work, Dr. Swett has taught graduate courses on trends in higher education and served as a consultant for colleges, universities, vocational schools and private institutions.  She has an Ed.D. from the University of San Francisco and an MPA and BS from San Jose State University.
