• how ceremonies are structured and how are they executed
• the different rituals that institutions have and how the campus culture affects ceremonies and rituals
• the difference between a mission statement and a statement of purpose
• the process of writing a mission statement for ceremonies
• how and when your mission statement should be used
• what should be included in your institution’s mission statements for major ceremonies such as graduation, opening convocation and presidential inaugurations
• the process of writing a mission statement for a ceremony, ritual or annual event.
