Sherry A. Woosley, Ph.D. is the associate director of institutional effectiveness at Ball State University. Dr. Woosley is responsible for numerous university-wide assessment activities and provides assessment consulting to academic and student affairs departments. She has published articles in the Journal of College Student Development, the NASPA Journal, the Journal of College Student Retention, the College Student Journal, and Assessment Update. She has also been an invited faculty member at the Summer Institute on First-Year Assessment and made numerous presentations at NASPA, ACPA, Association for Institutional Research (AIR), FYE, and various retention and assessment conferences. Dr. Woosley received her doctorate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in Educational Leadership and Organizations.
Amanda R. Knerr is the senior associate director of residence life at The Pennsylvania State University. Knerr is responsible for assisting with the supervision and administration of a comprehensive residence life program housing 14,000 students. She serves as a liaison with the eight other residential Penn State campuses and oversees the system-wide residence hall community standards program. Knerr assists in multiple assessment projects within residence life office including the annual system-wide Quality of Life survey. Knerr has published articles related to assessment in Assessment Update, NASPAs Net Results, and the Journal of College and University Student Housing. She has been an invited faculty member at the Summer Institute on First-Year Assessment and has made numerous presentations at NASPA, ACPA, and various assessment conferences. Knerr currently serves on the Directorate of ACPAs Commission for Assessment and Evaluation.
