Four (4) Recordings of Audio Online Seminar Series $749 Following the April 2007 shootings at Virginia Tech University, a governors panel made the following recommendation: Incidents of aberrant, dangerous, or threatening behavior must be documented and reported immediately to a colleges threat assessment group, and must be acted upon in a prompt and effective manner to protect the safety of the campus community. But what kind of body should that threat assessment group be? How should it coordinate with the rest of the campus? And what does prompt and effective response entail? Magna Publications A Complete Guide to Developing a Behavioral Intervention Team will answer these questions by teaching you how to establish and operate a College or University Behavioral Intervention Team (CUBIT) on your campus. During the spring semester, student behavior and risk management experts will conduct the following four seminars: Behavioral Intervention Team (CUBIT) Formation and Operation Advanced CUBIT Team Protocol and Integration Identifying and Responding to Student "Red Flag" Behaviors Threat Assessment and Aggression Management Strategies This series is a cost-effective, simple approach to training your first response team to identify and respond to campus emergencies. Participants will be able to submit questions to the presenters and get answers specific to their institutions. Seminars also include handouts to which participants may refer again and again.
