Return on Investment: How to Market Your Campus's Educational Outcomes
University Marketing Ideas
These three little letters are creating big-time change in how colleges and universities market themselves to prospective students: ROI.
ROI, or Return on Investment, is now one of the leading criteria students and parents consider when choosing a four-year college.
You can thank rising tuition, decreased financial aid, and a tight job market for this new trend.
The big question is how will you adapt your approach to this new paradigm?
Aaron Basko provides you with a series of outcomes-based strategies for university marketing designed to help you communicate your institution’s overall value to students and parents in this 75-minute seminar.
You’ll learn:
- A holistic approach to marketing educational outcomes and value-added features.
- The types of messages you need to send, and the proper distribution methods for reaching an audience.
- The best way to deliver a comprehensive image of outcomes successes.
This is new terrain for most colleges and universities. Traditionally, career services have been more attuned to the job market, and their functions have been exclusive from the admissions process. Today, these two areas must work in tandem.
We show you how this can be done by explaining:
- How to implement the four facets of outcomes marketing strategy.
- Why different outcomes tools are effective.
- What methods you can use to reach out to other departments on campus and partner effectively in your outreach efforts.
Who will benefit from this seminar?
This is an issue that affects every institution of higher learning – public and private, large and small.
You’ll want the following administrative positions to watch:
- Directors and Deans of Admission
- VPs of Enrollment Management
- Associate and Assistant Directors who work with admissions marketing
- College Marketing Staff
- University Marketing Staff
