The hot days of mid-summer invariably bring two things to most campuses: summer camps and conferences, and new budgeting cycles. In the rush of planning for all of these summer visitors, conference and program directors may be called upon to justify their program’s existence and funding and gain monetary and social support for continuation or expansion.
