NAACO Conference: Connecting Tradition and Innovation

This year, the North American Association of Commencement Officers (NAACO) explored the theme Connecting Tradition and Innovation at its eighth annual meeting in Boston, which was hosted by Northeastern University.

You know instinctively when an event is working well. The pre-event publicity has created a buzz that fills the room as attendees trickle in. When the concentration of attendees is at the right level, the planned events begin to take place, complemented by the interaction and relationship-building you can see going on. As the crowd disperses, you can tell that a sense of meaning has been created and shared.
