Tenting a Stadium

Every campus has its limitations when it comes to venues, and University of California, Berkeley, is no different. For a campus that houses more than 30,000 students, 8,000 faculty members, and an equal number of staff, youd think that there would be space to accommodate the most ambitious sit-down dinner, a lecture for thousands, or at least your standard board of trustees meeting.
However, for better or worse, there seem to be other goals in mind when buildings on large universities are designed.
