A ceremony to memorialize the life of a campus community member who has passed away can truly be said to be the event that no one wants to plan. However, a college or university is like any community, and inevitably it will experience the loss of one of its members. Whether the loss is student, alumnus, faculty, or staff; whether the passing is a normal part of life or a brutal reminder of its unpredictability, the time will come for every campus to remember its own.
