Last month's question was "How high a priority is improving teaching in your department?"

Almost half of those who responded said teaching is a high priority in their department, while other responses were evenly divided between "the top priority" and "a medium priority." Some of the comments reflected a desire on the part of some faculty to continue doing things the way they've always done them, while others indicated their schools are focused on professional growth and development activities to help improve teaching materials and strategies.

This month's question is "How does your department reward innovative teaching?"
