When this newsletter first came out two years ago, our main concern was campus safety for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender students. Today, worries about safety and harassment on campus still rank high. Although there has been progress in understanding GLBT issues, there remain ingrained prejudices against those who strive to come to terms with sexualities and gender identities that are not the norm.
