Benchmarking Your Efforts to Help Students Develop Morally

Spirituality and morality is important to most college students, recent surveys say. For example, Spirituality in Higher Education, a research project conducted by the University of California, Los Angeles’ Higher Education Research Institute, found that of more than 112,000 first-year students surveyed, nearly half said that they consider seeking out opportunities to help them grow spiritually to be “essential” or “very important.” How well is your campus helping students develop spiritually, morally, and ethically?
