Tips on Creating a Bystander Action Campaign

The University of New Hampshire wanted to supplement its efforts to reduce violence against women with a new campaign to encourage students to act when they see trouble. As a result, UNH developed a series of four posters telling students that it’s OK to step in and say something when they see behavior toward women that doesn’t seem safe. “Know your power,” the posters read. “Step in, speak up. You can make a difference.”
