Student Fee Referendum Not Viewpoint Neutral, Court Says
In 2000, the U.S. Supreme Court decided that viewpoint-neutral allocation of student fees does not violate student rights. But the ruling left another question unsettled: Can a student government legally put allocation issues to a student vote?
