For the first time since its inception, the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) takes an in-depth look at distance education students this year. Some of the findings confirm what many distance education professionals already know about their students. However, the results also indicate some interesting differences between distance and traditional students and where they are most likely to engage with their institutions.
