He was suspended from his teaching duties and immediately escorted off-campus. He was not allowed to secure any personal items in his office and the college later removed some materials. He never even got a list of the items seized.
So what did he do? How did the school respond? And when the school response was challenged, what was the final outcome?
The principle While all college students are owed a duty to care, student-athletes, with a greater risk of injury due to the physical nature of sport activities and their training, competition, and travel schedules, face higher risks and institutions have a greater duty towards them.
For many years, scientists have struggled to understand the cave paintings created by human beings thousands of years ago. Among the things that have intrigued scholars are the simple handprints that are frequently left on the wall near the paintings, or actually incorporated into the paintings. Many of the paintings are actually framed with handprints. Why are they there? Why did these people leave their handprints on the walls? What is the meaning behind them?
