Preparing Blended Courses for Quality Matters Certification

In 2009 the University of Maryland School Of Nursing transitioned a Doctor of Nursing Practice program from a face-to-face to a blended format. In this process of transforming the program, the UM School of Nursing team underwent a crash course on how to integrate the Quality Matters rubric into blended course formats. Distance Education Report recently spoke with Kathleen Buckley, PhD, RN, Associate Professor and Matt Rietschel, MS, Director of Educational Strategies and Clinical Instructor in the UM School of Nursing about the lessons learned in preparing a blended program for QM review.
