Leading Online Learning: Leadership for Success

While there is much research that identifies factors contributing to the success of an online initiative, very few “situate these quality and success characteristics within a theoretical framework or a model for implementing OL.”  This is the gap that Sangeetha Gopalakrishnan of Wayne State University noticed when she began researching the issue.  Her research has uncovered the importance of a planned approach to institutional change that begins with leadership from many quarters.
