Dennis Black is vice president for student affairs at the University at Buffalo-State University of New York. As an administrator, instructor and attorney, Dennis speaks, writes, and consults on student service-related issues and legal concerns for educational institutions. Dennis is a member of the NASPA Journal editorial board and was named a "Pillar of the Profession" in 2004. Dennis holds his juris doctorate degree from the University at Buffalo, from which he received the 1996 Chancellor's Award for Excellence.
