| Make the Most of Your Content Dollars — Access the National Repository Trying to set up and maintain a distance education program all on your own can be an exercise in frustration unless you have a budget capable of paying for high-quality content. And all too often thats not the case, says Terri Rowenhorst, director of partner development at the Monterey Institute for Technology and Education. Many institutions, recognizing the problem, have tried collaborative content development and other means of sharing resources on a state or regional basis. But there is an alternative for accessing high-quality content from excellent programs, and on a national level, too the nonprofit National Repository of Online Courses (NROC). |
