You may be offering what you think is a full package of online student services, services like registration, orientation, academic advising, etc. But you may not be offering one of the key services -– career counseling -– because you don’t know what resources are available for effective online counseling. According to Bryan Baker, director of career services at Tyler Junior College, there’s no reason not to be providing excellent career counseling services to your online students. Resources available today make it possible to offer the full array of services available to your traditional students.
