Many a school child has been raised to think of the library as a wonderful place to explore fanciful worlds, discover interesting facts, and experiencing the life-transforming power of reading. But when these children grow up and become distance education professionals, it is easy for them to overlook the librarys potential role in allowing students with all types of mental and physical abilities and challenges to access distance learning.
