In 1991, the Center for Distance Learning Research (CDLR) was established as an official center of Texas A&M University’s (TAMU) College of Education. The CDLR is dedicated to “transform[ing] education by developing distance education applications, by supporting research and evaluation, and by providing timely and appropriate professional development, technical assistance, and consultation.” The Center offers its services to both public and private entities.
