Leading Your Faculty to AccessibilityThey had to get accessible fast at Erie Community College in New York. Their distance program had been growing rapidly. And no sooner had they hired Martha Dixon to oversee the program, than the director of their disabled student services office told her that they were advising disabled student not to take distance learning courses because they would have a difficult time. This is not something that a distance education administrator wants to hear.
