Teacher’s College, Columbia University’s famous graduate school of education, has created a “knowledge network” using the principles of Web 2.0 to serve as the foundation for a distance learning community. In doing this, they have employed some of the latest thinking about the potentials of the Internet as a way to show a piece of the future for distance learning.
