Four years ago, Kent State University established its first faculty learning community, which focused on teaching and tenure issues for early-career faculty. Since then, faculty have created FLCs focused on collaborative technologies, adult learning and workforce development, educational psychology, information literacy, learning and teaching in large classes, online learning and teaching, and more.
