The Capital Campaign and Its Life Cycle

Most universities find themselves faced with the need to raise awareness about philanthropy through formal campaigns every to five to 15 years in order to sustain institutional growth. Most fund-raising campaigns last three to seven years, depending on the institution’s size and complexity. A typical life cycle for a capital campaign follows.
