The year started out with a bang for thousands of event professionals at The Special Event in Miami Jan. 5. The four-day conference and trade show offered attendees educational sessions, showcase events, and networking opportunities. Attendees represented all different areas of the industry, including caterers, designers, florists, technical producers, and rental houses, as well as corporate, social, not for profit, campus-based, and independent planners.
