"Stand by house to half. House to half go. Stand by winch cue 6.5, lights and sound. Stand by fly 47 on red. Go! How many times do you hear this on a normal day? If you work in the theatrical side of the business, it’s very likely this is a nightly ritual. Sometimes it will be twice a night, if it’s a busy show.
