| UW Rolls Out Red Carpet for Better Fan Behavior Last year, the University of Wisconsin-Madison received several complaints from opposing teams fans about how poorly they were treated by UW fans while in town for a football game. A couple of the complaints took the form of letters to the local newspapers. This year, however, opposing teams fans have written to express how well they were treated during their visits. The difference, the school and city believe, is UWs new Rolling Out the Red Carpet program, which focuses on sportsmanship and fan courtesy. |
