Scott D. Schneider, JD

Scott D. Schneider heads the Higher Education Practice Group for national law firm Fisher & Phillips LLP. He has provided legal training to institutions around the country and was selected by the National Center for Campus Public Safety to serve as a faculty member for its Trauma-Informed Sexual Assault Investigation and Adjudication training program. Schneider also litigates on behalf of education institutions, investigates allegations of institutional misconduct, and provides expert witness testimony on matters dealing with institutional response to allegations of sexual misconduct. He is also serving as an award-winning professor at Tulane University where he teaches courses in both the law and business schools on, among other things, Higher Education Law and Title IX. Schneider's legal practice is informed by a real world understanding of how colleges and universities operate as he spent six years working in the Office of General Counsel for Tulane University.
Schneider holds a JD from Washington and Lee University School of Law and a BS in economics from the University of New Orleans.
