Finding the Spigot

Everyone has an issue they care deeply about. Once they start talking about it, words seem to flow almost of their own accord.Whatever the topic might be, we can think of it as a person's individual "spigot," because broaching it means opening the verbal floodgates. Academic leaders quickly learn which topics not to mention in casual conversation with this or that person, but there are also situations in which "finding the spigot" can help you achieve important goals and avoid potential problems.
