Now Accepting Proposals for 45-Minute Concurrent Sessions & Digital Poster Sessions
We want you! We’re seeking innovative and passionate instructional design professionals to submit a proposal to present a 45-minute concurrent session or a digital poster session at our 2027 half-day learning lab.
Submitting a proposal is easy! Simply fill out the form and select the track that best fits.
All proposals must include:
- Session title and abstract
- Content and context
- Three literature references
- Relevance
- Engagement activities
Tracks
Proposal Development and Funding Strategy
Strong proposals begin well before the writing stage. This topic track focuses on selecting the right opportunities, aligning institutional strengths with sponsorship priorities, improving proposal quality, and helping investigators develop fundable ideas in a competitive and changing environment.
Research Compliance, Security, and Institutional Risk
Research offices must interpret complex requirements while helping faculty move projects forward. This topic track offers practical approaches to disclosures, research security, data and privacy expectations, conflicts of interest, export controls, and cross-campus compliance coordination.
Pre-award, Post-award, and Financial Stewardship
Operational excellence protects funding and improves the investigator experience. This topic track examines the handoffs, controls, financial practices, and closeout processes that reduce delays, prevent errors, and support responsible management throughout the award lifecycle.
Research Operations, Collaboration, and Capacity
Strong research programs depend on effective services, skilled teams, and coordinated institutional support. This track explores how research offices can improve service models, strengthen faculty partnerships, develop staff, and use data and technology to scale their operations
