Faculty Engagement & Retention
Sessions will focus on strategies for balancing the competing demands of an academic career, overcoming challenges to retention; and reenergizing faculty.

Assessment
These sessions focus on the assessment of faculty progress, professional development initiatives, and measuring success. Sessions may include: learning records; performance evaluation models; feedback; and development plans.

Practices and Strategies
Sessions in this track will highlight trends in pedagogy; best practices in improving instruction and boosting student engagement/success; and strategies for creating inclusive learning environments.

Leadership
Sessions in this track support building and refining innovative approaches to higher-education leadership in support of student success; building faculty collaboration; addressing conflict resolution; coaching/mentoring faculty; fostering inclusion and belonging for faculty; and building a positive working and learning environment.

Special Topics
With the complexity of faculty development roles and responsibilities at different institutions, sometimes our work doesn’t fit neatly into a single category. Submissions for this track represent topics not clearly defined in another track, such as: securing funding; strategic planning; publishing scholarly work; wellbeing and balance.
