Frequently Asked Questions

This is a non-disciplinary conference. We welcome educators from all levels and departments to participate. Educational developers, instructional designers, academic leaders, secondary-school educators might also find value in the conference.

No, the June in-person conference and the October virtual conference have different speakers and different sessions.

The conference is synchronous from October 25-28 and on-demand from October 29-December 31.

You’ll miss the networking sessions and the pre- and post-conference workshops. All other content will be recorded for on-demand viewing.

Yes, if the presenter provided them to us. They will be posted to the conference viewing platform.

We have two preconference workshops and two postconference workshops available (additional registration fee required). https://www.magnapubs.com/tpoc/tpoc-optional-programs/

The call for proposals is closed. For 2023, the call for proposals will be posted to the conference website in January and will be open for submissions until mid-March. Accepted presenters are notified in May. After the call for proposals has been closed, no new submissions will be accepted.

We do not offer scholarships or financial assistance to attend the online conference.

YES — the plenary and breakout sessions are being recorded and can be viewed by conference registrants until December 31, 2022. The roundtable events, and the pre and post conference workshops are NOT being recorded—they will only be available on their scheduled dates & times.

Registrants of The Teaching Professor Online Conference get access to both the synchronous and asynchronous sessions. There is no option to sign up for just the synchronous or just the asynchronous sessions.
