Justin Mallett, EdD

Dr. Justin Mallett is the Vice President of Inclusive Excellence at Northern Arizona University, working to foster and enhance an inclusive environment at Northern Arizona’s main campus and our statewide campuses as well. Before coming to NAU, Dr. Mallett was the Assistant Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion at Northwest Missouri State University, where he was able to create an institutional strategic plan and implemented several programs and assisted in creating policies to create an equitable learning and working environment for students, faculty and staff. Dr. Mallett has worked with various organizations such as the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU), National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education, Missouri Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education among many other organizations both regionally and nationally to address diversity and inclusion initiatives and provide strategic planning tips to enhance inclusive environments.
