Lisa Low
Lisa Du Bois Low is an associate professor of practice in the Department of Public Relations & Strategic Communication Management in the College of Media & Communication and a Faculty Fellow in the Teaching, Learning, & Professional Development Center at Texas Tech University. She is an active member of the Texas Tech University Teaching Academy. Low earned an MA in Educational Psychology and Educational Instructional Technology from Texas Tech University, an MBA from Baker University, and a BA in Business Administration/Marketing from Park University. Low’s expertise bridges strategic communication, emerging technology, and teaching and learning in higher education. Research interests include generative AI in higher education and empathy as a pedagogical strategy. She regularly leads faculty workshops on the ethical and practical integration of generative AI in teaching and learning, including course design, formative assessment, and academic integrity.
