Jodi Gill
Jodi Gill is an immigration attorney and adjunct professor of legal studies and criminal justice/criminology. After serving as a student affairs administrator for over a decade, she chose to complete a two year term of service with AmeriCorps. Jodi provided pro bono legal services to an LGBT nonprofit organization (focusing on name changes and legal issues for transgender youth), immigrants and refugees and individuals seeking political asylum in the United States. She was awarded grants to teach citizenship classes in local libraries and community service agencies as well as to produce anti-bullying videos and publications for LGBT youth. In addition to her legal practice, she continues to provide pro bono legal representation to the individuals and communities she served through AmeriCorps and has developed programs and resources on her campus to enhance the experiences and knowledge of all regarding these issues
