Lynda Leavitt

Lynda Leavitt, EdD is a professor at Lindenwood University, where she currently serves as coordinator of the Office of Charter School Sponsorship, teaches educational leadership doctoral students, and chairs many LU dissertations. Beyond higher education, Leavitts experience includes public school administration in traditional k-12 settings, special education administration, k-12 teaching and Charter School consulting. As director of the Future Institute Research Center, whose focus is on college, career readiness and post-secondary transition, Lynda collaborates with the Future Institute Board of Directors and research fellows to provide scholarships to graduate students. Leavitt is the associate editor of the International Academic Forum (IAFOR) Journal of Education and currently co-produces the podcast CapIt!@Lindenwood and serves on the LU Research Policy Advisory Team.
