Mathew Ouellett
Mathew (Matt) L. Ouellett is the executive director of the Center for Teaching Innovation at Cornell University. Ouellett joins the Cornell community from Wayne State University where he served as associate provost, and director of the Office for Teaching and Learning, and associate professor for WSU's School of Education. Prior to that, heheld progressively responsible positions in higher education administration and educational development at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In 2012, Ouellett was honored with the Bob Pierleoni Spirit of POD Award for outstanding lifetime achievement and leadership in the enhancement of teaching, learning, and faculty development.
Ouellett holds an EdD from University of Massachusetts-Amherst, MLA from Goddard College, and a BA from University of Nevada.
