Anna L. Conway, EdD

Anna L. Conway is an experienced higher education leader and professor of communication at Des Moines Area Community College. Conway has been teaching college students since 2003 and has served as the inaugural director of a Teaching & Learning Center at DMACC for 7 years. Her current research interests include the impact of innovative instruction on student engagement, inclusive teaching and equity-minded course design, and adjunct faculty professional development. Conway actively publishes and contributes to discussions on the topics of innovative teaching methods, developing effective strategies for student engagement, advancing faculty development, educational leadership, supporting contingent faculty in higher education. She is also one of the content developers for the Inclusive STEM Teaching Project.
