Nicole Barta, EdD
Nichole Barta is the director for the Center of Teaching and Advising and an associate professor in the Kinesiology & Sport Management Department at Gonzaga University. She collaborates with faculty to integrate the university’s mission and evidence-based practices into their course design and instruction. As a former kinesiology program director, Barta led efforts to redesign the curriculum to align with professional organizational standards, providing students with expanded post-graduation opportunities. Barta holds an MEd in curriculum and instruction with a concentration in teaching and learning, an EdD in doctoral studies in education, and a Program Administration Certificate from Seattle Pacific University.
