Dr. Phillipe Copeland is a Clinical Associate Professor at Boston University School of Social Work. He is a theorist, educator and practitioner specializing in human behavior in the social environment. This includes social justice, trauma, resilience and healing, culture, media and narratives, behavioral health, and health equity. His scholarship includes a model of competency-based, antiracist education, a model for identifying and responding to racism denial, and a test for assessing how antiracist films and television are. His work has been featured in The Daily Beast, The Boston Globe, and The Hill as well as news, radio, and television interviews.
