Jono Anzalone, EdD, (he/him/his) is an accomplished educator, humanitarian, and climate leader with over two decades of experience in economics, disaster response, and nonprofit leadership. He currently serves as a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Southern Maine and Assistant Professor at Thomas College. A Truman National Security Fellow, Jono holds a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration and Leadership from the University of Nebraska, a Master’s in Economics from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and a Master’s in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University. He has led international programs for the American and International Red Cross and was the founding Executive Director of The Climate Initiative, a national nonprofit empowering youth climate action.
