Sarah Lovern, PhD, is a full professor of biology at Concordia University Wisconsin. She has a BS in biology from Truman State University in Missouri and a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. After completing her dissertation entitled “Effects of Manufactured Nanoparticles on Daphnia magna,” Lovern completed a teaching post-doctoral at Augustana College in order to become a more effective instructor. She has taught physiology, oceanography, and other science courses at CUW for 13 years.
