Deidre Price, PhD is currently the interim vice president of Academic Affairs at Northwest Florida State College. Previously, she served as interim director of learning technologies. Price has taught web-enhanced, hybrid, and online classes. She has chaired the Distance Learning and Technology Committees, is certified as a Quality Matters Reviewer, and is invited often to write and speak on the subject of instructional technology and online education. Her work is featured in Magna Publications 20-Minute Mentor series, and she has written the forewords for two recently published online education books for faculty: Grading Strategies for the Online Classroom and Teaching Strategies for the Online Classroom. Price is also the founder and editor of Rogue Homilies, a multimedia online journal published biannually. Her writing can be found at DeidrePrice.com.

Price holds a PhD in literature and new media studies from Florida State College and a master's in British and American literature from the University of South Alabama.
