Julie Schrock
Julie Schrock is a professor of education and co-director of faculty development at Meredith College. She spent almost 10 years in public school teaching as a special educator, behavior consultant, and learning specialist. Currently, at the college she teaches courses for pre-service and practicing teachers that address teaching and learning, teaching students who are gifted and talented, adolescent learners, and differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all learners. She presents regularly at teaching and learning conferences for higher education faculty on effective teaching practices.
Schrock holds a PhD in educational psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an MA in counseling, and a BS in special education both from West Virginia University.
