Leadership Course
Alicia Burns works in higher education administration, overseeing the Bonner Leader program at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA. After 10 years as a business professor, and more than 20 years in adult education, Burns decided to focus her career more intentionally on leadership development. Her research and writing interests combine psychological safety and leadership as they apply in the world of education—both inside and outside of the traditional classroom. Having taught undergraduate and graduate courses across various disciplines, the common thread of how people successfully lead others has sparked Burns’ passion for supporting educators of every age group and learning level.
